The boost decision, in numbers
The featured post and Unlimited both put a role at the top of results. Which is cheaper depends only on how many roles you feature in a month:
- One or two featured roles: buy the £29 featured post as you need it — 1 × £29 or 2 × £29 = £58, both under the £79 monthly plan.
- 3 or more featured roles a month: switch to Unlimited. 3 × £29 = £87 already exceeds the £79/month plan, which then also covers every other role you post.
- Just testing the water: start on Free (3 posts a month) — you can feature or upgrade any single role later.
Check your advert is complete first → A featured post only performs if the advert has a salary, a specific title and a clear description.
Pricing questions
- Is there ever a fee per hire or a commission?
- No. GeraJobs charges for posting and featuring adverts only. There is no placement fee, no commission when you hire, and candidates are never charged to apply.
- When does Unlimited beat the £29 featured post?
- At about 3 featured posts a month. 3 × £29 = £87, which is more than the £79/month Unlimited plan — so from the third featured role onward, Unlimited is cheaper and also covers all your other posts.
- Do free posts still appear in Google for Jobs?
- Yes. Free and paid posts are rendered with the same JobPosting structured data. Featuring a role changes its placement inside GeraJobs search; it does not change the structured data. Whether Google surfaces any listing is decided by Google.
- Can I cancel Unlimited?
- Yes, anytime. Your live posts stay active for the period you have paid for. There is no long-term contract.
