Why advertise a healthcare role here

Six honest reasons — and a plain statement of what a job board is not, so you know exactly what you are buying.

Applications come straight to you

Candidates apply directly to your advert and land in your dashboard. There is no agency in the middle reading, filtering or reselling your applicants — you see everyone who applies and message them yourself.

No fee per hire, ever

You pay to post or to feature an advert — never a placement fee and never a percentage of salary. A single senior nursing placement through an agency can cost thousands; a featured post here is a one-off £29.

Valid JobPosting structured data

Every role is rendered in the JobPosting format Google uses for its Jobs experience, so a complete advert is eligible to appear there. You do not have to write any code — fill in the fields and the markup is generated for you.

Free to start, cheap to scale

Post 3 roles a month at no cost with no card. Feature a hard-to-fill role for £29, or move to Unlimited (£79/month) when you hire across several sites.

You control the advert

Edit the title, description, salary or requirements at any time and the changes go live in minutes. Close a role the moment it is filled. No waiting on an account manager.

Candidates are never charged

Searching and applying is always free for job seekers. That keeps your applicant pool as wide as possible — nobody is filtered out by a paywall.

What GeraJobs is not

Being clear about the limits is part of being honest with you:

  • We are not a recruitment agency and do not place, supply, or headhunt staff.
  • We are not a healthcare regulator and hold no CQC, NMC, GMC, GPhC, or HCPC status.
  • We do not vet candidates or run right-to-work, DBS, or registration checks for you.
  • We do not guarantee any number of applicants — response depends on the role, the pay, and the advert.
  • We do not actively recruit from countries on the WHO 2023 safeguards list; international content is information only.

Honest answers

How is this cheaper than a recruitment agency?
A recruitment agency typically charges a placement fee — often a percentage of the first-year salary. GeraJobs charges only for posting or featuring an advert (from £0, or £29 to feature a role). You do the shortlisting yourself, which is why there is no per-hire fee.
Will I definitely get applicants?
No job board can promise that, and we do not. The number and quality of applications depend on the role, the pay you offer, and how complete the advert is. A specific title, a stated salary and a clear description make the biggest difference — the advert checker helps you get those right.
What happens to a listing I did not post but that names my organisation?
Some healthcare listings are aggregated from public boards so candidates can find them in one place. If you are the named organisation you were not charged and submitted nothing. You can claim it for free to correct the details or have it removed.

GeraJobs is a job board — not a recruitment agency and not a healthcare regulator. We do not register, vet, place, or supply staff, and we do not guarantee any number of applicants. Posting a role means publishing your own advertisement. Hiring decisions, right-to-work checks, DBS checks, and professional-registration checks remain the employer’s responsibility. Any international-hiring information here is general guidance for individuals who choose to move of their own accord; as a matter of policy we provide information only and do not actively recruit from countries on the WHO 2023 Health Workforce Support and Safeguards List. Fees, pay scales, structured-data rules and immigration rules change — always confirm the current position with the relevant official source before acting.

GeraJobs is a job-search and recruitment platform that connects candidates with independent employers and recruiters. Gera is not the employer, recruiter, or hiring agent of record and is not party to any employment relationship — hiring decisions, job offers, and employment terms are solely between candidates and employers.
